Medium Voltage Covered Conductor (Tree Wire) for overhead distribution circuits. The assembly utilizes a multi-layer composition: Conductor (Al/ACSR) ->Semi-Con Screen -> Insulation -> HDPE Jacket. Operational Logic: The HDPE jacket serves as a non-shielded dielectric barrier, preventing immediate short circuits during momentary vegetation contact.1 Designed specifically to optimize reliability in wooded right-of-way zones compared to bare conductors.
