Designed for the “hot zones” of electrical cabinets and power supplies, it is rated to withstand 105°C (far exceeding the standard 80°C limit). Q: UL1007 vs. UL1015: Which one do I need?
A: Check your Voltage Requirement.
UL1007: Rated 300 V. Thinner wall. Good for low-voltage signals.
UL1015: Rated 600 V. Thicker wall (approx 0.8mm). Required for Power Supply inputs and high-voltage internal wiring.
Q: Is it safe for power supply internals?

A: We strongly recommend Tinned Copper. It costs slightly more but resists oxidation (turning black) and is much easier to solder than bare copper.

A: It is rated for 105°C (Hot). This is significantly higher than the standard 80°C of UL1007, making it safer for crowded, hot cabinets.
Q: Is it actually UL listed?
A: Yes. It carries dual certification: UL AWM Style 1015 and CSA TEW. You will find the file numbers printed directly on the wire insulation for inspection.
