Q: UL1007 vs. UL1015: Which one do I need?

A: Check your Voltage Requirement.

  • UL1007: Rated 300V. Thinner wall. Good for low-voltage signals.

     
  • UL1015: Rated 600V. Thicker wall (approx 0.8mm). Required for 電源 inputs and high-voltage internal wiring.

Q: Is it safe for power supply internals?

 A: It is rated for 105° C (Hot). This is significantly higher than the standard 80°C of UL1007, making it safer for crowded, hot cabinets.

 

 

Q: Is it actually UL listed?

A: Yes. It carries dual certification: UL AWM Style 1015 and CSA TEW. You will find the file numbers printed directly on the wire insulation for inspection.
