A: Stability at High Speed.

  • Design: Features an Inner Pressure Jacket that locks the twisted cores in place, plus a robust Outer Jacket.

  • Function: This structure eliminates internal friction and prevents the “Corkscrew Effect” (cable twisting/deformation).

  • Result: Essential for High-Speed Applications (>5 m/s) where single-sheath cables would destabilize and fail.

Q: Oil Resistance (NBR/Elastomer)?

A: Excellent Industrial Oil Resistance.

  • Material: Outer sheath made of Special NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) Compound.

  • Performance: Superior resistance to industrial oils, grease, and cooling fluids commonly found in CNC machining.

  • Note: While excellent for oil, NBR is designed for Indoor Use. (For extreme mechanical abrasion or cutting, consider our PUR series).

  • Structure: High-density Tinned Copper Braid placed between the inner and outer sheaths.

  • Design Note: The inner jacket prevents the shield from grinding against the core insulation during rapid movement, ensuring long-term electrical safety.

A: Standard High-Flex Specs.

  • Mobile (Drag Chain): 8 x D (Cable Diameter).

  • Fixed: 6 x D.

  • Advice: Maintaining this radius is crucial. Although the cable is flexible, a tighter radius (e.g., <8xD) at 8 m/s speeds generates excessive heat and mechanical stress.

Q:Outdoor Usage?

A: Indoor Application Only.

  • Limitation: The NBR jacket offers excellent oil resistance but has Limited UV Resistance.

  • Warning: Direct exposure to sunlight will cause the NBR jacket to age and crack prematurely.

  • Alternative: For outdoor drag chains, please strictly specify our PUR Series (which is naturally UV stable) or Black UV-Resistant PVC.
