A: NYY is standard for fixed runs—indoor, outdoor, or concrete. Need shielding? Use NYCY. The concentric copper conductor adds the grounding protection required for sensitive sites like power stations.

Q: What international standards do your power cables comply with?

A: We manufacture strictly to IEC 60502 and DIN VDE 0276. This ensures you pass audits for safety and performance in LV/MV grids.

Q: What is the difference between XLPE and PVC insulation?

A: It’s about temperature limits. XLPE takes 90°C (critical for heavy loads). PVC stops at 70°C. Unless you have specific high-heat requirements, PVC is the cost-effective standard.

Q: When should I choose Armored Cable (SWA/STA) over Unarmored?

A: Direct burial or impact risk = Armored (SWA/STA). It stops rocks and pressure from crushing the core. Installing in protected conduits inside buildings or cable trays? Unarmored is usually sufficient.

Q: What does the 0.6/1kV voltage rating mean for my project?

A: Standard Low Voltage spec. 0.6kV to earth, 1kV between phases. This matches the requirement for most industrial distribution systems globally.

Q: Are your cables suitable for direct underground burial?

A: Yes. NYY works for standard soil. But for rocky ground or heavy traffic areas, you need Armor (NYBY/NYCY). Don’t risk core damage during backfilling.
