A: Production strictly adheres to IEC 60502 and NFC 33-209 specifications. Depending on regional requirements, we also comply with ASTM/ANSI standards and specific national codes such as NTP 370.254 (for CAAI configurations), ensuring full electrical and mechanical compliance.

 

Q: Technical comparison: Why specify XLPE over PVC insulation?

A: XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) is a thermosetting material, distinct from thermoplastic PVC. It offers a higher continuous operating temperature (90°C vs. 70°C) and superior resistance to thermal deformation. This allows for higher current carrying capacity (ampacity) and enhanced durability against UV degradation and environmental stress cracking.

 A: ABC systems fundamentally increase grid reliability (reducing SAIDI/SAIFI indices) by eliminating faults caused by phase-to-phase contact (clashing) or vegetation interference. Furthermore, the insulated design mitigates non-technical losses (illegal tapping) and significantly reduces clearance requirements in narrow rights-of-way.

A: Yes. The messenger specification is dictated by span length and tensile strength requirements. We offer three standard variations: AAC/AAAC (Aluminum Alloy) for standard spans, ACSR (Steel Reinforced) for high-tensile needs, and Galvanized Steel for specific legacy support systems.

 

Q: Are these cables rated for high-salinity or corrosive environments?

 A: Yes, provided the correct messenger is specified. While the XLPE phase insulation is inherently resistant to salt spray, for coastal deployments, we strictly recommend Greased ACSR or AAAC messengers to prevent galvanic corrosion on the neutral support wire.

A: We manufacture the full range of multiplex configurations: Duplex (1 phase + neutral), Triplex, and Quadruplex (3 phases + neutral). Additional pilot cores (street lighting conductors) can be integrated into the bundle as per project BOM (Bill of Materials) requirements.
