Upgrade your internal wiring to 600V reliability. Unlike standard 300V options, UL2586 handles higher voltage loads while maintaining a compact profile. Rated for 105°C, it withstands the heat buildup inside industrial control units and office automation devices without insulating failure.

Installation is stress-free. The PVC jacket is formulated for flexibility, allowing easy routing through tight chassis corners. For electrically noisy environments, choose the Shielded Version. Its aluminum foil layer actively blocks EMI interference, ensuring stable signal transmission. Fully compliant with UL758 and UL1581, this wire meets the strict safety standards required for global export.

JOCA produces UL wires using a fully automated workflow. The cycle synchronizes copper drawing and stranding with precise PVC or XLPE extrusion. Instead of waiting for post-production checks, we employ continuous inline monitoring—using laser diameter gauges and spark testers to catch defects instantly. For multi-core variants, the line handles cabling, shielding, and jacketing to exact specifications. Q: Main advantage over standard wire?

 A: Voltage Rating. Standard hook-up wire is 300V. UL2586 is rated for 600V (or up to 1000V). It offers double the safety margin for high-power internal wiring.

 

A: High-Load Devices. Ideal for industrial control panels, inverters, and heavy-duty office printers where voltage loads exceed standard 300V limits.

 

Q: Temperature limits?

A: -20°C to 105°C. Handles the heat buildup inside sealed power supplies without insulation failure.

 

Q: Power or Signal?

 A: Both.

  • Large Gauge: Use for internal power distribution.

  • Small Gauge: Use for high-voltage logic controls.

Q: Conductor material?

A: Stranded Tinned Copper. We recommend Tinned over Bare copper. It resists corrosion and solders faster, preventing “cold solder” joints.

Q: Is shielding available?

A: Yes. Optional Aluminum Foil or Braid. Mandatory if your wiring runs near transformers or motors to block EMI noise.

 

Q: Is it stiff or flexible?

A: Flexible PVC. Designed for “Stress-Free” routing. It bends around tight corners in compact chassis without putting mechanical strain on the connectors.
