    Product Description

KVVP: PVC/PVC Braided Shield Control Cable : Product Description and Specifications

Designated for high-noise industrial environments, the KVVP series integrates a high-density Copper Wire Braid (CWB) to secure signal stability against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Unlike unshielded counterparts, this metallic screen actively grounds external static and Radio Frequency noise, making the cable a mandatory specification for precision instrumentation, automation logic, and power distribution networks (Rated 450/750V).

    Production Processes Of Control cable

Control cables are manufactured via pressure extrusion to lock in PVC density. Quality control goes beyond standard metrics: we conduct mandatory oil resistance and bending tests on each production lot. This verifies actual performance against IEC specs, ensuring durability in real-world automation environments.

Have more questions?

Easily get started by finding the answers to commonly asked questions about our company and services.

Q: Structure Definition (KVVP)?

A: GB/T 9330 Standard.

  • K: Control Cable

  • V: PVC Insulation

  • V: PVC Sheath

  • P: Copper Wire Braid (CWB) Shield Rated 450/750V. Functionally equivalent to international shielded control specs.

Q: Purpose of Copper Braid?

A: EMI/RFI Rejection. The metallic braid blocks Electromagnetic Interference from VFDs, heavy motors, and transformers. Mandatory for maintaining signal integrity in noisy industrial zones.

Q:KVV vs. KVVP?

A: Shielding Factor.

  • KVV: Unshielded. General purpose.

  • KVVP: Shielded. Slightly larger OD. Provides critical protection against signal distortion.

Q:Outdoor Installation?

A: Requires Protection. Standard PVC is not UV-stabilized. Must be routed inside conduits to prevent sun degradation. Optional: UV-resistant Black Sheath available upon request.

Q: Installation Bending Radius?

A: ≥ 6x OD (Overall Diameter). Due to the metallic shield, the cable is stiffer. Strict adherence is required to prevent shield deformation.

Q: Fire Safety Options?

 A: Custom Specs Available.

  • ZR-KVVP: Flame Retardant.

  • NH-KVVP: Fire Resistant (Maintains circuit in fire).

  • WDZ-KVVP: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH).

Q: Voltage Rating?

A: 450/750V. Standard for control logic, monitoring loops, and secondary protection circuits.

Q : Selection Guide: KVVP vs. RVVP?

A: Conductor Stiffness.

  • KVVP: Fixed Installation. Uses Rigid Class 1 or 2 conductors.

  • RVVP: Mobile/Tight Spaces. Uses Flexible Class 5 fine strands.
